MY STYLE
My goal is making sure you are happy with the pictures taken of your photo session. I have a photo journalistic approach to photography. So although I may pose some shots, I like to capture true emotions and feelings by being less obtrusive. It's all about you having a great time and enjoying yourself. That's where I capture those original smiles, and loving looks that you share with your loved one or child. Although I look for uniqeness and originality with each shot, I always make sure I do my best to capture each and every photo that you have requested, including the classic posed style photos. Choosing Modern Touch Photography isn't just about hiring a company to photograph your daughter or son's first birthday, your senior pictures, or photos to send to your loved ones. It's about choosing a company that cares about capturing precious, unique memories that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime. |

Answers to common questions I receive
Q - What area do you service?
A - I currently provide Photography services to North Carolina in the Raeford, Fayetteville, Fort Bragg area.
Q - What kind of camera equipment do you use?
A - I use a Canon 1D Mark III DSLR camera , I have two 580EX II external flash units, and my lenses are as follows: Canon 70-200 L IS 2.8, Canon 50mm prime 1.4 and a Canon 24-70 L 2.8
Q - What do you like taking photos of the most?
A - Children and newborn photo sessions would be my favorite. I have three little boys that I love to death, I love how children always give you true emotions and feelings.
Q - Do you pose people in your photos?
A - I have a photojouranlist approach to photography, (meaning, I prefer to give clients photos of their day, their smiles, their personality, and the fun that they had, not photos that I forced them into, or made them fake). I sometimes "stage" your photos, (meaning, "let's get some shots of you and your fiance holding hands and walking down the road", then while they are walking I will capture the smiles from a happy conversation, and looks of passion that two loved ones share). I dont like posed shots as they usually appear fake and uncomfortable in my opinion, but if you are dead set of having posed photos, I'm more than happy to honor your request.
Q - What recommendations do you have for a single subject session (i.e. Model, Senior, Newborn, Toddler, etc)?
A - I always recommend that clients wear something that compliments their body, skin tone, and personality. You could also consider bringing a prop that expressess your individuality. (i.e. baby's favorite toy, football helment, cheerleader pompoms, etc)
Q - What recommendations do you have for multiple subject sessions (i.e. family, engagement, reunion, birthday, etc)?
A - Families should try to stick with colors that go together (not the same color, just something that doesn't clash), props are also great with family photos. Try to stick with the same clothing scheme, (if all but one person is wearing long sleeves and the other person is wearing spaghetti straps the person will appear to be an outcast in the photo, the same applies to any situation where everyone is in dark colors except one, etc)
Q - What is the turn around time for me to get my photos after you take them?
A - I am in the military and occasionally go to the field. However, I can typically finish all alterations, adjustments, enhancements and collages within one week if not sooner. Then we just need to setup a time to get the disk of images to you (depending on the package you ordered).
Q- Do my photos have to go online?
A - Although your photos are password protected, if you wish to keep your photos off the internet, I am more than happy to honor your request.
Q - What forms of payment do you accept?
A - I accept cash or money order for your photo shoot, however prints, merchandise, and digital downloads may be purchased from your client proofing area using your credit or debit card.
